Jonas's world is no where close to perfect because no one can see color. Emotions are missing from this world he is stuck in. He ran away because he wanted to find new places and discover whats out there in the world. I would give up the family I had there and all the friends because there not worth it.
Music can be part of my everyday life because I listen to it every day on the radio. I don't have a problem with any type of music I enjoy all of the types. I believe the community had no music because of the messages some songs put across. It could give the people of the community ideas and give them memories.
World war 2 was a terrible time in our country. If I had to put it in words I would say that it was bloody and one of the worst wars. Jonas already having the memory of war can only imagine what world war 2 was like. It made basically the whole world go into chaos because not only our country was in it many others were to so that would give him the idea that there other places out there.
If Jonas were to tell the story himself I am sure he would tell it much
differently then the narrator now. Because it would be from Jonas's eyes. If the narrator did know more than everyone else though then I believe that the story would be to short so if you have Jonas narrate it then it makes the book better because theres mystery and wonder. When I become a adult I may pursue my dream of a video game designer or becoming a cartoon artist. I have loved video games and drawing my entire life so I think those choices suit me very well.
I believe in the next chapter of the giver that we will learn more about the place that Jonas lives. We will learn about the time period and the place that he lived in. We may learn more about his school also we could learn more about Jonas friend Asher. And that is what I think is going to happen in the next chapter.
